Calendar of events in Italy

In Italy the EUROPEAN CAREERS week will involve teachers, practitioners and policy makers in a series of digital and in presence events. Two events will take place during the Festival of Europe which will be held online on the 9th and 10th of May in collaboration with the University of Florence. With an international panel of experts, the two sessions will focus on early career education and the role of career management skills as a tool to promote social justice. Another event will take place on the 9th of May in Perugia where career guidance experts from 7 countries will take part in an international “train the trainer” event promoted by a project called TRANSVAL on validation of transversal skills.The occasion represents a strategic synergy between projects where the new CMS model proposed in the CAREERS AROUND ME project will be presented and discussed as inspiration to the work of the TRANSVAL project. A national webinar will also be held on the 11th of May to present the framework in collaboration with career guidance experts from SORPRENDO, the Italian software for career development. During the event, experiences of application of the framework will be presented and participants will be invited to become ambassadors of the framework. 2 in presence workshops will take place with secondary school students from a school in Pesaro and Urbino province to explore the innovative aspects of the CMS model related to sustainable and ethical thinking and to entrepreneurial mindset. The workshops will explore the role of creativity in creating new entrepreneurial ideas and the importance of sustainable thinking in the career development process. The event will take place on Friday 6th and Friday 13th of May in Pesaro.

1 community in presence event will take place in Pesaro on the 4th of May where practitioners and video makers will involve the community in a participatory event to collect needs and present in an engaging and gamified way the framework to the general public. The event will take place in Pesaro on the 4th May in Viale Trieste from 5 to 7 pm.

A final event in presence will take place in Florence on the 30th May and will involve all the community stakeholders involved in providing guidance activities to young people. The event will take place at “Le murate” in Florence and will present the framework to practitioners. Here is a short video that summarizes the event:
