Piloting the CAREERS model with unemployed adults

25/05/2022 News

In Germany, the team from HdBA led by Prof. Peter Weber worked to test on the field the CMS framework and the project resources with unemployed adults. As part of the pilot, a seminar with a curriculum on supporting unemployed people in the development of their skills on career planning was run. The approach included reflecting on the role of the professionals (change of role), identifying the target group (and sub-target groups) and understanding the influencing factors on the target group and how career support can help this specific target group. A larger part of the seminar focused on direct intervention strategies and concepts that the practitioners can use in their work.

A full presentation on the use of CMS with the target of unemployed adults is available here.
